Trifold Card . . .

I have made a little mental note (this is the first time I'm saying it out loud) to "TRY" to do all the weekly tutorials on SCS. So I gave this weeks a try. And actually, I LIKED IT! This is the trifold card. I used SU designer paper that I think came from last years catalog as a level 1 hostess set.
Have a great Monday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

New favorite type of card . . .

Okay, this is my new favorite type of card for the moment. :0)

One of the girls at work is throwing a birthday party for her 3 yr old. She is having him a bubble party with a jumper that has a waterslide on it. So she asked me to come up with an idea. And here is what I came up with. She loved it. The paper is from EK sucess, Disney paper, other paper is all SU. YoYO yellow, Brill. Blue. Marvy Scallop and circle punch were used here. Off to work, but tommorow, I promise I will have a different style of card!!!!!! :0)

Flap Card

Okay, I know I was on a roll with posting everyday and then all of a sudden, MIA. That this time truly wasn't my fault :0) Good 'ol hubby forgot to pay phone bill so DSL got shut off then you have to wait forever and a day for them to turn DSL back on. So I'm back now!!! :0)
This is my new favorite style card. The Flap Card, instructions for SCS. My neighbor is having a little boy, but didn't want her friends to know yet, so her hubby requested Laker colors for the baby card. This is what I came up with. Card was made using YoYo Yello, Lavender Lace, Marvy Scallop and Circle punch and I used pop dots on the top part of the circle, and Velcro for the bottom part to keep them shut. Even though I've been MIA, I have been stamping, so see you tomorrow with more cards!

What do you think????

Okay, I need to know what you all think. My hubby's friend is throwing a birthday party for his daughter. She is turning 20. She is not a girlie girl, not a fashion girl, just a levi wearing, kick back, sweet girl. Her dad asked if I can do a little invite. He said, "maybe like a pacifier with a red line through it, like I'm not a baby no more." THAT'S A GUY FOR YOU! (In my mind, I was like Oh No!!!). So I went on SCS and asked all you girls for some advice and I got good advice like flowers and Bella stamps (which sadly, I known YET). And then I thought of this. This is only one of the samples I'm going to show him, but when I should the hubby and the kids, they said, this fits her! Please tell what you think. I used Creative Imaginations Impress-on (rub-on) for the girl skull and pink bling in the eyes, which the picture here DOES NO JUSTICE! hee hee.
Inside the card I put the cherries with the skull. I figure I could print out all the info on the inside if he likes this one. Sorry for the blurry pics. 5 days in a row, shis, I shock myself! Hee hee!
